The Early Years:
We started off almost 20 years ago with our first
Dobermann, Vishnu's Johanna CD BH WAC CGC, DPCA
Longevity - "Amber". She was a Swedish Import with
excellent working background and lots of Dobermann
spirit. Amber wanted nothing more than to do working
events, obedience, and flyball. We got our feet wet in
the conformation show ring with Amber doing fun matches
and local shows. We soon added our second Dobe.
Baron Schwartz Blitzen, or "Baron" was brought in
shortly after Amber and was an American bloodline
Doberman. Baron also had good working ethic for
obedience and was a great house dog. He was out of
BISS MiGar's Shame on You, "Shame." Baron sired one
litter of puppies.
Naturally, too much of a good thing is wonderful so
we added our third Dobe -
Bella Ami von Reinherz - "Cinder" took us back to the
Import Lines that we enjoyed. Cinder had strong working
drive and was very willing to please - a fast learner
and our first foray into the world of Schutzhund. Pam
was one of the founding members of the Wisconsin Working
Dog Association.
Several litters of Dobes were produced in the 1990's
with both Amber and Cinder being bred to some fine
working lines Dobes including one litter with
Marienburg's SunDogs Barron - "Baron", a son Baron Bryan
vom Harro'sburg and two litters with Bizmark vom
Donautal SchIII IPOIII - "Bizzy". Several of the
offspring from these breedings went on to also earn
titles in the Schutzhund sport. This included our
keeping one of the puppies, Herr Eick von Reinherz, WAC
- "Eick."
As the 1990's continued, we added two more dobes to
our family. Adlercrest Schwartzwach Vor, or "Khan"
from the Adlercrest "V" Litter and UKCCH Xalina vom
Adlercrest WAC CGC - "Jade"
The Later Years:
By the late 1990's, the first Greater Swiss Mountain
Dog was added to the extended family with CH Foundation's Watchin' n
Waitin, CGC - "Jack." Jack took us down more activities
with conformation showing and other working dog
activities within the world of swissies. There was a
whole new community and lots of activities with the
swissies. Once again,
more dogs followed to where we are today.
Unfortunately, the Dobermann's aged and we removed
them from our breeding program but they remained a part
of our family. We did not bring in any new blood in
dobes during this time.
Today, we are temporarily out of Dobermann's while
looking for a new Dobe from the right lines to add to our family.
Today:
We enjoy breeding our Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs as
a hobby. We only produce several litters in any given
year, sometimes none. We would like to think that
we are breeding to the standard and with health and
temperment in mind on all of our breeding decisions. We
look at all of our puppy litters as individual
"families." Each new family that takes one of our babies
is an extension of our own family and should be assured
that we are there for our families when they need.
Please feel free to fill out a puppy application or give
us a call. We would love to tell you more about us. If
we do not have a puppy for you, we always know of
litters out there and can refer you on to another
breeder.
